Ahh just about one of the cutest creatures on the planet :) These little  guys sure do have personality, and the way they work together as a family is incredible! They can really teach us a lesson or two about teamwork and looking out for each other's backs.

Went to Anna Paula's tea garden for the first time today. My mom  wanted to take us out for tea before she makes the journey to the far off country of Australia, for three and a half weeks!
According to the waitress we were all sure to get fat because we didn't use the imaginary forks she had carefully provided... :P

So I've been wanting to include people/portraits in my blog of course, but I wasn't sure where to start. Soo seeing that it's my brother's birthday today, adding a photo of him seemed an appropriate place to begin :)
This is the first of hopefully many portraits to come!

Had fun playing around with jelly beans today. Such a brilliant food to photograph because of the amazing colours! I had to take the pictures quickly though, because with my family around those jelly beans were disappearing fast... ;)

The lighting this morning was so pretty, so I grabbed my sister's hat, gave it to her and told her that she could hide under it if she really wanted to - seeing as she wasn't entirely keen for a portrait :P

Had some fun getting out of the house with the camera at Key West's little dam ...and almost got eaten by the hundreds of hungry geese that seem to own the place :P

So day two of my blog comes around, and suddenly I feel like there is absolutely nothing I can photograph. I'm not lying when I say that I was running around from room to room, desperately searching for something worthy of a picture before the day was up! I even took my camera out with me briefly to the shops, but it chilled in the boot the entire time :P Finally I decided that some old bottles were the closest to a suitable subject, and so i began taking pics from all sorts of angles. I was completely captivated! Now I remember why i was so inspired to start a blog, because it really forces you to overcome any sort of photographer's block. :D
