Went to a friend's really nice sweet sixteenth . The spread of food they had provided was extravagant!

Waking up this morning to the sound of the season's first rains was wonderful. It is a sound that marks the change of seasons and chapters in our lives. Watching the rain soak into the thirsty grass reminded me of how for a time we may experience the 'dryness of winter' in our lives, but God will drench us with His goodness according to His timing :)

So I'm not huge on selfies, but they say it's good practice so I thought I'd give it a try. It's definitely not my favourite, but I had fun messing around with lipstick and lighting :D

The guitar is a popular and beautiful instrument. An instrument that I'd still like to learn. Let's hope one day I'll be able to tick that off my bucket list :P

My brother and I spotted this cute vintage Citroen. I finally decided to ask the owner for a photograph. He was reading the newspaper which fitted right in, and just added to the look :)

A friend popped by to say hi on his way back from work. It was golden hour, and the lighting was just too stunning :P
